Vioderm Anti Wrinkle Serum Review
Vioderm is another best anti-wrinkle cream being marketed as an alternative to Botox. It is very similar to Hydroderm, another Botox alternative solution. After having tried them both, I felt very little difference between the two. My skin felt a little more softer and smoother after applying Vioderm just like with Hydroderm.
Most of these Botox alternative products work by providing collagen to the skin much like Botox does but without the painful needles. In addition to collagen, Vioderm also has Retinol and Matrixyl.
The product makes some fairly hefty claims on their website. They state that after 2 months of twice-daily application, volunteers saw a:
- 45% decrease in wrinkle depth
- 250% increase in collagen production
- 15% improvement in skin tone
Matrixy lis a patented ingredient used in Vioderm, which contains polypeptides called matrikines. They aid the skin in restructuring and repairing itself. It helps stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production.
Retinol is a Vitamin A derivative that also repairs and stimulates collagen and elastin. It aids in creating firmer and smoother skin. It has a very small molecular structure which allows it to penetrate the outer layers of the skin and into the lower layers to aid the skin repair process. [1]
The usage instructions for Vioderm are as follows:
- Use in morning and at night
- Gently wash face with warm water and blot dry
- Place Vioderm anti-wrinkle serum onto fingertips
- Generously apply serum all over skin and let absorb, avoiding the fragile skin around your eyes
- Follow with Vioderm Active Moisturizer
- For daytime use, we recommend applying a sunscreen over the serum to protect your skin from further damage [2]
